Christine Padlan
Christine Padlan is a Principal at Montgomery Pacific and represents a wide range of technology companies including gaming, media, e-commerce, and telecommunications companies, and venture capital funds investing in technology companies. She assists tech start-ups with business formation, mergers, licensing, commercial contract negotiations and general corporate matters (including employment agreements, stock-based compensation, and corporate governance). She advises investors in seed to late stage venture financings.
Christine commenced her legal career at Kirkland & Ellis, New York City, where she represented private equity clients and their portfolio companies. She served as a lead attorney on both domestic and international leveraged buyout transactions, recapitalizations, mergers, venture capital/growth equity investments, and restructurings.
Christine’s interest in devoting her law career to emerging businesses began as an analyst at the Silicon Valley office of CIBC Worldwide Markets, and in business development at a Silicon Valley technology start-up. She graduated from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and she received her JD/MBA at NorthWestern University School of Law.
